These moist, indulgent brownies are the result of not being able to find my “good vanilla” and having to find suitable substitutions…
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups white sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tablespoon bourbon
The juice of 1/2 of a small orange
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13×9 cake pan. Mix first five ingredients together. Add the eggs. Mix in other ingredients but, be careful not to overmix. Bake for approximately 25 minutes.
